Naked 3 Palette Review

I finally got the Naked 3 Palette this past weekend. It was selling out of our stores faster than they could stock it! I absolutely LOVE it so far! The quality, of course, is incredible and the colors are super pigmented. The new colors work really well with my skin and eye colors, so I'd definitely recommend it to my pale, blue/green eyed friends (:

Also, it comes with a packet of samples of all their different primer potions, which is a really good way to test them all out! I may have preferred a big sample of the original primer, but I really do like experimenting with the other primers.

I'm thinking about doing a few tutorials using this palette, so comment if that's something you'd be interested in!

Happy Friday!

Wide Legged Pants

I have been loving these crazy, wild pants! They're not something I would usually like, but I saw an adorable pair at Dillard's the other day and have been seeing tons ever since- even Vineyard Vines and Lilly Pulitzer are on board with this trend. I just think they would be absolutely adorable in the summer with a plain top and maybe some wedges. Here are my favorites:

What do y'all think about this trend?

Lilly Pulitzer for Estee Lauder Gift

Last time Estee Lauder did a Lilly Pulitzer gift bag with purchase, I didn't end up getting anything, because I just don't wear Estee Lauder makeup. I totally regretted it. I was so excited when they had another set! I went to the counter and just straight told the lady I had no idea what to get, but I wanted the Lilly gift. She recommended their new BB makeup. I used it this morning and love it so far!

I just LOVE the print! And it fits the Naked palettes, which was kind of a downfall of my old makeup bag.

Be sure to go get a cute little Lilly set at Macy's!

Workout Gear

I love workout clothes- working out, not as much. I've been going to yoga pilates fusion class lately and I love it! Here's some of my favorite pieces:

Love the back on this and the color is so pretty!

I love Athleta yoga pants! I got this pair for my birthday and can't wait to wear them!

The colors on this tank are too fun!

What brand of workout gear do y'all prefer?

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

After multiple days with a low of four degrees, I am definitely SO ready for summer- more than usual. I cannot wait for lazy days spent by the pool. Here are some favorites swim suits:

You can't go wrong with Lilly

Of course, I love these from Vineyard Vines

I think this one is so cute!

And of course plenty of Victoria's Secret solid colors!
Where do y'all get bathing suits?

17.

Today is my 17th birthday! Too many country songs have been written about being seventeen for this to be a bad year!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I love St. Patty's Day! My mom always makes the best corned beef and cabbage and I love dressing up in green. I'll be at work all day, so I don't get to pick out a fun green outfit, but here's what I would wear:

Necklace: Jeweliq
Shoes: Tory Burch

How do you celebrate St. Patty's?

Ulta Haul

Today I went to Ulta with my mom and picked up some goodies!

I absolutely love the They're Real Mascara. I usually buy the mini's because I can't use a full tube before it dries up. I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner freshman year, but switched to MAC's gel liner, but now I'm back. Ulta Brand Concealer is my favorite! So easy to use and inexpensive! I also love Ulta Brand nail polish. Today it was on sale for $2! The color is called "Moody Blues," it's not really showing up, but it's kind of a navy.

Also, my pink Hunter's came in the mail today! I was so disappointed when the buckle fell off my black pair, but so excited when Nordstrom let me trade them in for the pink!

Hope everyone has a great week!

New Year's Resolutions

So of course I'm doing the cliche New Year's Resolutions. I feel like actually writing them down might help me stick to them.

  • Cut back on Diet Coke I'm am definitely addicted. I went a whole week this month without them and I had a ton more energy. I still don't think I can quit cold turkey, so I was thinking just 2 a week.
  • Keep my nails painted Freshman and sophomore I always had my nails painted, but this year I've got busy and lazy and nails have just been shoved under the rug. I just think I look a lot more presentable with polished nails.
  • Save more money Right now, I have 25% of my paycheck sent directly to my savings account, but I'm trying not to waste as much money. I also want to look in to investing (in companies, not shoes)
  • Put more effort in to my outfits I have a ton of cute clothes, but I totally got in to a jeans and t-shirt rut towards the end middle of the semester. It's one of those things that slipped under the rug when I got so busy with school and work. I also want to start posting OOTD's!
  • Be more generous with my money I'm pretty good at donating to charities, but I definitely think there's room to step it up. It's so easy to only donate at Christmas time and not year round.
  • Read the bible more often I often forget how important and therapeutic it is to read His word. I love reading the bible right before I go to bed, but I definitely forget to.
  • Eat healthier I know this is super broad, but my diet is actually so bad. I work at a bakery and there's always some sort of cake tempting me! I definitely am trying to eat more fruits and veggies.
  • Workout at least twice a week This is another thing that I used to be so good at! I honestly have no excuses for this one.
What are your New Year's Resolutions?
